Resources/Life in Dunedin, New Zealand?
I have a school offer that would require me to move to Dunedin, New Zealand, but I don't know anything about life there.
Doctors: I'm stealth, post-top/bottom surgery, and take weekly injections; I'd need a trans-friendly PCP to prescribe the latter. I would have uni health coverage written through Allianz (most likely), but I imagine this would be considered a pre-existing condition. Does anyone have experience with doctors in the area?
Queer Life: While I "pass," I'm visibly queer and have no intention of hiding that. I have heard that New Zealand is quite liberal and that seems to be my experience in talking with people there. However, I've never been and don't know what queer life is like in Dunedin. Does anyone have any insight?
