New Comer With Questions

Jan 02, 2014 21:29

I have recently accepted the fact that I am FtM. I do dress masculine but do not pack, bind, or anything like that yet. As I am ignorant to a lot of things regarding transitioning, I have a number of questions. To start with: After taking hormones for awhile, do people, or yourself, notice your hips anymore? In the "bedroom", after bottom surgery, can you still "finish"? How did you tell your parents? How old were you when you first started transitioning? I have many encounters with women telling me I am in the wrong bathroom or people calling me sir or thinking I'm not using my own credit card because they don't think my name matches how I look; how do you deal with this? what do you say to people?.. There are no transgender resources where I currently live so this forum is really one of my only sources of information from actual guys who know what it is like. Any advice would be greatly helpful! Thanks!

Also, if anyone knows if there are any support groups or anything in NJ, that'd be great too!
