Swollen nipple after massage
Hi Guys. I had surgery more than a year ago and everything been fine since. My left side did seem to suffer some nerve damage but my nipple erected normally. Two days ago though, i went for a full body massage. The therapist did not massage my nipple area but did massage slightly above that area, mainly around my under arm.
The day after the massage, my left nipple seems bloated and purplish. I have a tattoo over my nipple so i can't tell it's exact condition, expect that it's defenetly not as flat as it used to be. My surgeon's in a different country and i havn't been able to reach him, but a local inexperienced doctor says that 'maybe there was a blood clot which has been massaged out' he wasn't able to tell me if this was a good or bad thing and just asked me to keep an eye on it.
Has anyone had similar experiences with old scars acting up?
