Had a mishap, still shaken.

I've been on T for about four or five months now, and I had my first big screw-up. I do sub-cutaneous injections, typically in the area of my right hip. Today I injected pretty shortly after waking up- I had a long week and had slept for 12+ hours previously, and had not eaten prior to injecting, and only had a little water to drink. Going in I did not feel much pain other than the little prick, but towards the end of pushing in and pulling out, the pain hit me like crazy, and a lot of blood came out. I was dizzy and light-headed afterwards, and had to actually sit down on my bathroom floor after i got a sterile gauze pad to stop the bleeding. The bleeding itself ceased after about a minute of applied pressure, so I don't think I hit anything important or injected into a vein,

Afterwards I drank copious amounts of water and got food to eat. It's now been almost 12 hours since I injected, and I haven't had any aftereffects other than soreness around the injection site. Should I be worried at this point, or am I in the clear? What did I do wrong? I am definitely switching to my left side for injections from now on, and I'm tempted to talk to my doctor about changing my method of T consumption entirely after this incident, because I don't trust myself 100% with a needle.
