Top surgery incision bleeding
Hey folks,
I'm about 10 days post op from Dr. Brownstein and I plan on calling him about this... Has anyone every experienced a small tear/reopening in their incision after surgery?
Healing is going really well but when I woke up this morning I noticed that a very small part of my incision( at the end of the incision towards my armpit) has started to leak/bleed. I suspect I rolled over or made a sudden movement in my sleep that opened it. It's not a huge amount but enough where I had to go through a few gauze pads to slow the flow. It'll stop for a few hours but reopen if I take my surgical binder off or move my arm in the slightest. It's not bright red blood either, sort of a murky red brown. It's clearly some of the fluid thats built up leaking out and the swelling in that area was very intense. I havent actually seen the tear yet, the surgical tape is still on but its clear that the tear is within that area.
