i'm 4'10. i was really insecure about being seen as a short man pre-physical transition, but now it doesn't bother me all that much (4+ yrs on T). the best thing i can recommend is just to be confident in yourself. there are plenty of short men in the world, both trans and not.
This helps me as well, as I'm about the same height as you. I'm pre everything, but it's one of the things I was thinking about. Nice to hear I'm not alone.
I used to be so self-conscious about my height until I realized that no one besides me notices it most of the time. Just having a big (social) presence more than compensates for not taking up much physical space. Like, I've had several friends, as much as 5-6" taller than me who've told me they thought I was taller than them until I announced my height in numbers; then they would stand up next to me and go, "Huh, I guess you are a little shorter, whatever."
There've been a few occasions where people have made negative comments about my height before, but usually what I tell them is, "I don't have a problem with my body, why do you? What are you so insecure about?" It usually shuts them up pretty quick, even if I don't mean it or really am feeling shitty about my height that day/week/whatever. Basically, if you act like you don't care that you're shorter, odds are no one else will either.
Also, not for nothing, there are plenty of shorter non-trans men around too
I completely agree. I used to be dysphoric about my height (about 5'5-5'6 in shoes), but after I went to college last fall and walked around campus, I see dozens of guys my height, shorter, and even more girls (which is great for me!). my current girlfriend is 4'10.

Also my confidence went up when I got on T.
Also the longer I exist the more teeny tiny cismen I meet.
