Out of Town surgery

 I am having surgery with dr garramone in the beg of jan, but am not able to stay in town the full amt of time to get my drains removed. I already contacted the office and they told me that would be fine i just need a letter from the Doctor i choose to do the check up or whatnot. My question is has anyone not stayed in town to have their actual surgeon remove the drains. Where u satisfied with the care u recieved from the dr u choose to do it? what kind of a dr did you use a plastic surgeon or ?? Did you have to return to the surgeon for any complications? All in all r u happy with your decision?

I know i have read of guys doin this and just wanted to hear more personal experiences.
