there is one simple reason: topical t is does NOT act more where it is applied. t goes THROUGH the skin INTO the bloodstream, and it's spread around from there. you won't get a bigger dick by applying t gel/cream to your genitals just like you won't get a beard by putting gel on your face. and as if that wasn't enough, i doubt applying alcohol to your genitals every single day would do you that good in the long run, even if you sucked it up re: pain.

I have noticed significantly more hair on the thigh that I put my T cream on. The thigh was not like this pre-T. I've heard of other people experiencing more hair growth where they apply their cream/gel. This seems to suggest that maybe the T does act more on the area it is applied to.
I think this is quite pausible as the T does sit just below the skin being slowley released into the blood stream. I have read that a number of people on gel have higher DHT levels because of this. That DHT conversion in the skin could be then triggering extra growth in that area. No idea about dick growth tho,.
yeah, i agree. it's not supposed to act locally, but there's some anecdotal evidence that it does. my belly, where i apply the cream, is orders of magnitude more hairy than any other part of my body. not that i mind or anything...
well, i obviously don't know about the experience you had, so i can only speak for mine, but remember that it is also quite normal, if not common, that hair develops asimmetrically at first.
i know, i should've specified that in my comment. however, as far as i know, those types of t are not prescribed as HRT, so one would have to acquire them/have them prescribed specifically for genital growth.
