YAY! Shit like this validates the Dr. that chose to call me "She" during my ultrasound yesterday when they looked in my history and saw my last ultrasound was the once that got me my hysto. He was like "You used to have a uterus?" "I was like, yeah, I'm trans. It's not relevant to the status of my liver though." He was like "Hurrr" and then, upon calling in another dr. to help him with a picture, was like "SHE had a hysterectomy last year." That Dr. was like "What are you talking about? This patient? It has been used within this comm pretty regularly without commentary from the mods, so I feel pretty okay with using it and the acceptability of its usage within comm rules.
