I was looking down at my fingers today, and I remembered an article I had read a long time ago in "Psychology Today" about index to ring finger ratio affecting the way your brain develops.  The link is here:  http://www.psychologytoday.com/articles/pto-20050614-000004.html

The article talks about how bio-females generally have ring and index fingers that are equally long, or a slightly longer index finger.  Finger length is controlled by the levels of testosterone your brain was exposed to while you were in your mother's womb.  Longer ring fingers in both sexes generally leads to having more masculine personality traits than in those with even-length or longer index fingers.  There have been a few studies where longer ring fingers in women were related to homosexuality.  I was wondering whether there was a connection between longer ring fingers and gender identity for FTMs.  You can tell just by holding your hand up with your fingers straight and together, but the more accurate way is to measure them with a ruler from the bottom crease of your finger to the tip.  I measured mine, and my ring finger was 2 7/8", while my index finger was 2 11/16", 3/16" shorter than my ring finger.  I know 3/16" doesn't seem like a lot, but you can really tell when I hold my hand up.  So I wanted to ask whether you guys have longer ring or index fingers?
