moving out of state...

and i need some suggestions. id like to move to a city that is somewhat trans-friendly, or at least queer-friendly. can any of you guys speak from experience and tell me about cities that you have lived in, and pro's and con's for moving there, and how easy it was to transition in said city. ive heard a lot about clinics like callen-lourde, or trans-friendly community clinic type things, and would ideally be in a place where something like that is available.

also if anyone knows of a city like the one described above that may have some sort of transitional (not as in transition... as in poor, young, no money) housing that would be awesome. im making this move post-graduation, but will not be financially sound by any stretch of the imagination.
