Easter Smeashter

The only thing that salvaged this weekend was the fact that my daughter really didn't know what Esater was all about and really didn't care. I mean...she's only 15 months old. All she saw was a pile of toys and candy and stuffed animals. Of course she enjoyed it! But between the weather ( rainy one day, then cold the next) and all the running around we did....I caught a cold. A viscious one. I mean, I can't even blow my nose because it feels like my head is gonna explode. I when I do manage a little "honk" and I mean miniscule, I get a pounding headache. Wonderful.

Saturday, he bought me a dryer. Ours has fizzled out and for the last 2 months, I have been going to the laundromat. Besides the 30 dollars I spend each week to wash and dry, I get two hours of silence. Nothing but the low hum of the dryers and swish-swash of the washing machines. Heaven. It was so peaceful. Especially at night. The laundromat had this door that could be locked from the inside and just to be safe I locked it every time I was there by myself. It opened so silently one night when the lady who owns it came in that it scared me. I brought a bell and hung it on the door. Do you know how many young mothers come in there?? If there happened to be some man there cleaning his drawls (hee) I made sure I had my keys in my pocket. That way if he tried something I could ball up my keys in my fist and do my worst. I saw it in a movie once. I can't remember the movie now, but anyway, I even secretly wished someone would try something just so I could see if I could do it. Thank God noone ever did.

Back to the dryer. We unloaded it and brought it into the house, cut at the bottom and lifted the top off........behold.....

A huge ass dent.

I was pissed. Well, not really pissed. He was. No, I was more dissappointed. I was really looking forward to doing my laundry at home for once. And it was soo big. I bet I could have fit two loads in it. (ok...a little history.....my previous washer/dryer were apartment appliances. Scaled down versions of the real thing. Itty Bitty.) Ok...anyway, i was disappointed and he was pissed and today hes taking it back. TONIGHT WILL BE THE BIG NIGHT!!! (drum roll please!)

We got up extremely early Sunday and went to Sunrise service at a local church with some friends of ours. (We have yet to find a church we both enjoy going to...) It was cool, we got breakfast, and of course, celebrated the real reason for the day. We went home and ....wait, next paragraph........

I didn't want to mention this in the same paragraph as church......w played playstation. Oh yeah. He bought a new game called " Manhunt" . OMG. Imean, this game is brutal. They (i don't know...just they) are taking it off the shelves because its sooo violent. And of course thats why we bought it. I mean, you can actually cut off guys' heads with wire after you strangled them........yeah. It's so fun though. And of course the little one was asleep.

Thats enough for now....it's already too long...,.maybe I'll update later.
