I dig the
Art of Manliness blog. And it has been neat to track how the creator of that site, Brett McKay has adopted the very things his site has been exploring over the last several years. He has grown both as a speaker, a writer (his blogs get better and better) and even in his fitness. The video below has him demonstrating what a "minimal wardrobe" is. I agree with a great deal of what he says below and in particular, I like how he unselfconsciously wears classic menswear. It is not fashion-forward. He would probably not appear on
The Sartorialist, but everything he shows is of a decent quality and he looks presentable in it. In fact, because he is in shape and simply wears the stuff well, it goes a long way to looking good on him. The man makes the clothes, not the other way around.
