In Memoriam: Rose Kreiswirth
Scrabble in general -- and Long Island Scrabble in particular -- is diminished today.
Rose Kreiswirth was one of the first people I got to know in Scrabble. And she was always a class act in every way, as a player and as a person.
I will miss her. I will also miss seeing Don at tournaments -- it always seemed that, no matter what the venue, the first person I would run into at every hotel was Don in the lobby.
