Title: Crosswalk
Author:
_ithinkicanRating: probably more R than NC-17
Summary: Song-fic sequel to One-Sided Love featuring 'Jibchak'.
Note: I'm so in love with this song, you have no idea. I just had to use it in a song-fic so that's when I decided to make One-Sided Love a two part one shot. I had to listen to the song repetitively to get an idea to put what passage where. Italics are flashbacks and non-italics is the present. So enjoy!
Also, in the last fic there was a girl named Ji-Yul; I changed her name to Kyungmin.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Kyungmin...where is he?"
She pursed her lips together and sighed, "I'm sorry oppa. He's gone."

2 YEARS LATER
"Yah! Okay, I got it. Don't wait up for me tonight; I don't know when I'll be home. 'Kay...bye~," Jong Hoon clicked his cell phone shut and placed it in his pocket. He walked up to the sidewalk curb and waited for the light to change. He checked the time and just waited. He looked up and felt his eyes widen. It felt like time had stopped. He looked around, blinked several times to make sure he wasn't hallucinating. Almost two years of memories were flashing before his eyes.
The crosswalk was only thing separating him and the other side. And the other side stood someone by the name of Lee Hong Ki.

"I'm sorry oppa. He's gone."
Those words echoed in his mind. He refused to believe they were true. He could feel the tears stinging his eyes but he refused to cry. He was in complete and utter denial.
"You're lying....y-you're LYING. He's just hiding inside. Hong Ki! Hong Ki! HONG KI-YAH!" Jong Hoon yelled as loud as he could, the neighbors started to look out their windows to see what was going on.
Kyungmin tried to calm him down, "Jong Hoon, stop it. People are looking; he's NOT here."
But Jong Hoon just continued to shout and yell. Then...
SLAP!
There was an awkward silence for a moment; she was the one to break it.
"Why don't you come in," she placed her arm around his and led him inside the house.

Jong Hoon stood there staring at scene happening across the street: Hong Ki with someone else, smiling and obviously happy. Two years ago, Hong Ki left him after he came home drunk one night and raped the boy. He could remember feeling depressed and drinking excessively in the last two years since Hong Ki's departure. He thought to himself if he should stand there and wait for the light the change; or just run away and forget that he ever saw anything.

Hong Ki and his boyfriend stopped at the sidewalk, "This is where I have to see you off, I gotta get to work."
He send a reassuring smile in his boyfriend's direction, "Wonbin-ah, I'll be fine. I'll see you when you get off. It's only an 8-hour shift."
The two continued to say their good-byes, almost as if they were never going to see each other again. Wonbin whispered something dirty into Hong Ki's ear and kissed him on the cheek.
Hong Ki gave him a disbelief mock look and playfully pushed him away. The two waved; Wonbin walked off in the opposite direction leaving Hong Ki at the crosswalk. As soon as Wonbin turned his back on him, Hong Ki turned to face the crosswalk. He could feel his smile faltering and his eyes widen.
It was Choi Jong Hoon; his first love. And the crosswalk was the only thing separating them.

Both boys stood there as if time had stopped.
Green light.
Jong Hoon took the first step; he didn't take his eyes off of Hong Ki for a second. Not even when someone walked or bumped into him. Step after step brought him close to Hong Ki; someone who confessed to him first; someone he violated two years; someone who left him; someone he still loved.
Hong Ki stood there; he realized when the red light changed to green, Jong Hoon was coming closer. He knew he should turn and walk away but his body froze. He couldn't move. His mind told him to walk away but his heart wouldn't let him.

"Hong Ki, why are you leaving?" Kyungmin watched pack his clothes into a large duffel bag, scrambling to make sure he had everything before sunrise.
"He doesn't love me," his movements became slower, soon he started to shake, next were tears.
She wrapped her arms around him, trying to comfort him, "You don't know that. I've seen the way he looks at you; he's only got eyes for you."
"That's not true; not after tonight. He did it out convenience. It was all just a lie."

She watched him sit on the floor, rocking back and forth, as if he were a crazy person. questioned him, "You were drinking weren't you?"
She could his head do a subtle nod; his eyes looked dead. She stood listening and watching him apologize to an invisible person. She knelt beside him, wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him close to her. She knew it would take some time for this problem to heal.

There was a knock at the door. Minhwan wasn't prepared for Jong Hoon's limp body to come through it.
"Hyung," he said weakly, "You're heavy." Minhwan managed to crawl out from underneath Jong Hoon and closed the door. He propped Jong Hoon's body against the small table on the floor. He was about to stand up to fix something to drink for Jong Hoon, but a strong hand shot out and grabbed Minhwan's wrist.
Minhwan turned to look at Jong Hoon, "Hyung. What is it?" Without warning, Jong Hoon roughly pulled the smaller boy into his arms. Minhwan was taken aback for a moment before he started to struggle. They struggled for a while before Jong Hoon managed to pin the smaller boy down, straddling his waist. He leaned over and started to kiss at Minhwan's neck.
Minhwan obviously knew that Jong Hoon was under the influence of alcohol and desperately tried to fight off Jong Hoon's advances. Of course though, Jong Hoon was bigger and stronger; he stilled Minhwan's movements easily.
Jong Hoon chuckled, "Hong Ki, you're so cute." His voice was slurred and his breath reeked of alcohol.
"Hyung, stop it! I'm not Hong Ki."
As Jong Hoon was in the middle of assaulting Minhwan's neck, his movments stopped altogether and he laid lifelessly on top Minhwan.
Minhwan took a minute to register what just happened; lucky for him Jong Hoon passed out before he did anything he would regret the morning after. He crawled out from underneath him and moved him to his bedroom. He tried to tidy up the living room before his sister came home. Too late; she was already home.
Kyungmin looked at the mess in the living room and then at Minhwan, "Minhwannie...What happened?"
He sighed, "Jong Hoon. He's passed in my bedroom."
She put her stuff down and walked into his bedroom. She sat by him for a while and watched him sleep. She could see small tears seep out of his eyes as he softly whispered Hong Ki's name over and over again.

"Give me another one!" Jong Hoon slammed the beer bottle down on the counter. HARD. He slumped over, his head nearly slammed into the hard, wooden table. He could feel himself zoning in and out of the world. He didn't care; if he had to drink his misery away then so be it.
"Jong Hoon, you've had enough," Kyungmin took the empty bottle away and handed it to the bartender.
Jong Hoon looked at the newcomer and gave a goofy, drunk grin. "Kyungmin, come. Drink with me."
"I'm not gonna drink with you, Jong Hoon...c'mon, let's take a little trip."
Before leaving with Jong Hoon, she left a white envelope on the counter for the bartender, "This is for you Jaejin."
Jaejin looked at the envelope then at her, "I'm not taking this from you, Kyungmin."
"And I'm not leaving here with it. You've helped us a lot these past few months, Jaejin. Don't think of it as a tip but as my graditude."
They drove for hours; she often found herself looking in the rearview mirror to check on Jong Hoon. He was still sound asleep; she made sure she didn't make any sudden movements with her driving. She knew anything would be able to wake up Jong Hoon. About three hours later, they reached their destination; it was a rehab clinic for alcoholism on the outskirts of Seoul.
She watched the nurses haul him from the car to his new room. She hated seeing him like this but she knew that he would never come here on his own. She knew the next morning he'd resent her for bringing him here. But it was for his own good.
The supervisor walked up to her and started to ask preliminary questions like, "How long has he been like this?" or "What caused him to drink so much?" She answered every question as best she could; anything to help Jong Hoon.
She looked at the supervisor, "I want to be here with him throughout all this." She was going to stay by his side until he he got through this.

It was almost like one of those cheesy, romantic movies where both lovers are so happy they kiss until the credits roll. They stood there on the curb for a while, just looking into each other's eyes. It almost seemed like everything was moving in slow-motion; Jong Hoon leaned over to kiss Hong Ki's lips. He didn't want to do anything to startle the boy. When he wanted to deepen it, the other boy accepted. They didn't care if all the bystanders stopped to look at them; it didn't matter if the whole stopped to watch them.
It all happened so fast; Hong Ki couldn't recall how they ended up from the sidewalk to checking in to a love hotel. Clothes were strewn across the floor but that didn't matter. The kisses were aggressive; their tongues were tangled together. That flame that died two years ago, had awakened, burning strong once again. Jong Hoon moved down Hong Ki's chest, sucking and licking at his nipples. Hong Ki tangled his hands in Jong Hoon's hair, trying to keep his breathing even. The entire time while making love, Hong Ki didn't think of Wonbin; not even once.

"Date me."
Hong Ki gave the other boy a confused look, "What?"
Wonbin walked up close to Hong Ki and said it again, this time turning it into a request, "Go on a date with me."
What should've been a one-time thing turned into a long-term relationship. Wonbin was never aggressive with him; he moved at whatever pace Hong Ki wanted. They made love after their first five dates; Wonbin told Hong Ki he loved him but he didn't know how to reply. He just replied with, "Me too."
He never stopped loving Jong Hoon.

Jong Hoon had just started to thrust into Hong Ki. The pace was painfully slow; Hong Ki wished that he would move faster but he knew he was doing all this to be gentle after their last experience together. As it picked up, Jong Hoon leaned over to capture Hong Ki's lips, nipping at them before shoving his tongue in the other boy's mouth. He started pumping Hong Ki's length; both boys were reaching their climax. Before releasing altogether, Jong Hoon settled next Hong Ki's ear, whispering something Hong Ki yearned to hear for years.
"Saranghaeyo."
Hong Ki didn't need a minute or a second to register what had just happened. He wrapped his arms around Jong Hoon pulling him close and begged him to make him come.

Jong Hoon stood there, looking out one of the rehab clinic windows. He watched someone's boyfriend being released and reuniting with his girlfriend. The two were happy; he watched them kiss and embrace each other.
Kyungmin walked up beside him, "Does it still hurt?" Referring to, "Does it still hurt when you think about Hong Ki?" It had been at least over 9 months since arriving at the clinic. He had gotten over the alcohol addiction but not the depression over Hong Ki.
"Not as much," he replied.
"Do you miss him?"
"Everyday."
"Do you still love him?"
"Since the day he confessed."

Both boys came at the same time. Before drifting off, they kissed a little more. Hong Ki nestled his head on Jong Hoon's chest. He could feel Jong Hoon wrap his arm around him as if to never let go. Jong Hoon would never let Hong Ki leave again. He remembered his heart hurt for the last two years, and now it would hurt no more.

Hong Ki stopped in his tracks, "Ne, hyung..."
Jong Hoon turned to look at him, "What is it?"
"Saranghaeyo..."

NOTE: I'm not completely satisfied with it but it's finished!! I'm stoked to read your guy's reviews. I tried to make it so it makes sense but also be like a poem-ish. Think if it as the Love Sick MV, there's a past and a present.
