I've probably already said this a million times, but in 3 weekends I went and saw the Foo Fighters in Pensacola; Kelly in North Carolina; and traveled to New Orleans on a party bus for Mardi Gras.
It was basically the shit.
Then I got the flu. Downhill, pretty much.
Got the flu during the week I had 3 tests. Then ended up getting pneumonia. Then my wisdom tooth began coming in, but because it is impacted, has caused me a pretty hefty amount of pain. But then I went home and got it checked out - and it needs to be taken out, along with my other one, by an oral surgeon. But since my jaw is so then they may crack my jaw while taking it out. ISN'T THAT AWESOME. THEN THEY CAN PUT A PLATE IN IT AND MY LIFE WILL BE COMPLETE.
But this just goes to show that my life is, indeed, in constant equilibrium. Good things can never happen without the bad, and what goes up must come down. But in that sense, what goes down must go back up at some point too. My flu/pneumonia are gone, my wisdom tooth has stopped hurting so much (even though I can't eat on that side of my mouth) and I'm making up my last test tomorrow morning (which I haven't studied for, but ya know...). My nails are gone too. :( I bit them all off. And I liked it.
But I did go home this past weekend, and it was great to see everyone. I haven't seen them in what feels like forever, but in reality is only about a month and a half or so. Almost 2 months, maybe. It was nice having a car to drive around that's for sure. But seeing my friends and family back in Dunedin is such a great break. My family is always a comfort to go back to, and my friends are so amazing there. I miss them all the time. I can go there and just relax and not have to worry about anything. Since I've been friends with them all for so long I can just come back and it's the same ol' same ol'. Like I never left. Plus my friends there are all boys, and I do miss hanging out with boys sometimes. Especially my boys. :)
School is...school. Can't wait until it's over, really. Pretty tired of doing it.
Guitar is good. Snapped my e string a while back but got it fixed recently, so it is now up to par. I hate it when my e string is gone, it's really my favorite string. But don't tell the other strings, they'll stay out of tune. Or snap themselves.
I'm still terribly single. Single4Life. Always Single. That girl. I'll have the cats, at least, at some point I'm sure. So that will be nice. Me, and 50 cats just meowing at each other. I can get pissed at work and come home and take it out on the cat that I know will never leave me. Thanks KITTY KITTY KITTY! Aw, now I miss my Bingo Schmingo.
OH! When I had the flu, the power went out, and we didn't know why. So we're trying to figure out why our power is fucked when we hear that a plane crashed in Tally and that's why it went out. Yea right, bullshit. Planes don't crash in Tallahassee. But turns out it was true. So we had the great idea of going to see the plane crash. Great idea for everyone else, but when you have the flu, you really shouldn't be walking 15 minutes each way at night. But it was a PLANE CRASH and you don't see those everyday. So me and all my neighb's went down to see it, and it was a little plane but still crashed right on it's nose. The dude lived too. A shit ton of people were down there also, all walking around in the road and checking the scene out. Pretty neat. It's on youtube somewhere, just type in 'Tallahassee plane crash' I'm sure you'll see it. Anyways, by the time I got back with that, I had to pass out cause I was so drained. I wanted to stay up for the blackout party they were having downstairs but that didn't go as planned.
I suppose with that I'll go to bed now, and delay my studying until the wee hours prior to the test. Such a good college student!
