I have been a total slacker about updating...
Major change on the wedding front. We had to change the date from April 22, 2006 to June 24, 2006. I don't feel like typing the whole sob story out, but when I went to put my deposit down with the club, they had taken a deposit from someone else just hours before. I was penciled in for the 22nd, and they were supposed to call me if someone was prepared to put down a deposit. Oh well, shit happens, maybe it was meant to be. So with that, the official wedding date (as I have the hall and caterer for sure) is June 24, 2006, just 363 days away!
Work is tolerable at best. I complained to my manager, which resulted in an awkward meeting with the person I complained about. Nothing was resolved, I'm still doing most of the work, and getting absoluely no credit for it. Besides that, the whole structure of the bank is changing. I am not happy and don't know if I ever will be...
I'm still trucking along with my diet/workout. I've lost 11 pounds to date, with a goal of 39 more before the wedding. I've had someone tell me I can definitely lose more than that in 12 months. We'll see. It's been a rough road and I'm sure I'll plateau somewhere along the way. *gasp* And after almost 7 months, I broke the fast food fast! TWICE!
Dave takes the Florida Bar July 26-27. He's been studying like CrAzY! He's taking a study course that meets for about 4 hours M-F and it's up to him to study for about 8 hours everyday. Needless to say I am feeling slightly neglected. It's not his fault at all, but I usually have him all to myself on the weekends.
Went to the Kleylas' place to celebrate David's birthday a few weeks ago. Everyone had an awesome time, so we'll be doing it again next weekend to celebrate Leslie and David's one year annivarsary! I can't believe it's already been a year since they tied the knot! Time passes so quickly when we're old! Remember when you were young and summers seemed as long as the entire school year? That has to be thing I missed most about being a kid. That and NO RESPONSIBILITY.
