Well, in my personal canon Yuki was spoiled with lots of presents (and drugs among other things) by his manager. For various reasons; to keep him sweet, to keep him silent, to influence him (Yuki was young - but never innocent ;D). And Yuki only kept one thing when everything fell apart, the most expensive thing, purely out of spite. So it's the only reminder of the old days, but priceless to others.

I just haven't figured out if he knows the note is there or not personally ;) Either way works.
