Simple Crock Pot Food

Mar 13, 2009 11:57

One beef roast, frozen.
One packet Lipton Onion Soup mix
One can Cambell's Cream of Mushroom condensed soup

Put frozen roast in Crock-Pot (Yeah, I know it's a brand-name of a "slow cooker", deal with it!) in the morning.
Sprinkle soup mix on top of roast
Put soup mix around roast in Crock-Pot
Set Crock-Pot to "Low" and let sit for 8 hours.

You'll end up with a roast that falls apart, it's so tender, and a fantastic gravy made from the juices and the soup.

Serve with mashed potatos, rice, or egg noodles, and your favorite vegetable - I like fresh, steamed green beans.
