Because of my most recent post, I'm going to watch an episode of Pushing Daisies and blog my thoughts about it while I read it. I love this show, and I hope this fun little exercise will make me feel better.
-Jim Dale, you make me smile. I love your British voice. A little ray of sunshine just appeared (metaphorically speaking) in my world...but poor Young Ned at boarding school...
-lmao "And a tawny owl, named Casper"
-I love this boarding school gambling culture
-D'aw, Chuck feeding Ned with an extra-long fork. Funny and adorable.
-I love flirty Olive
-HAHA "piss-jitters"
-Ned and Chuck: *HIDE*, and Olive: I think he's cute...love that girl. TOTALLY deserved that Emmy
-LMAO "This complicates things, you may need to pay for the pie"
-A peach pie with a brown sugar crust sounds really, really good...
-Just seeing Emerson makes life wonderful...his reaction to the fortune cookie was hilarious. Hell, the COOKIE was hilarious
-SIMONE!!!!!! Her appearance = lots of hilarious dog-related double-entendres
-Lei-Di is possibly the funniest Chinese name ever
-LMAO PIPE THROUGH HIS HEAD...this is so wrong...but SO FUNNY
-Emerson has one of the best exchanges ever "I tell you that and I'm a dead man!" "What we need now is a mirror..."
-lol the whole dead-waking thing helps them less and less in every episode...
-"Maybe Bao meant something else?" "Maybe Bao had a pipe through his head and was chasing smoke!"
-lol I love Emerson and Olive's interactions...so funny, great visual gags
-Ned, listen to your girlfriend. That's what she's there for.
-He way too adorable. He has a clue pad for writing down clues!
-HA! "And all the milk you could drink..." "Milk?" "Might not be the right word, my Mandarin's a little rusty."
-PD does the whole accepting it's fiction thing brilliantly "I was expecting Emerson to say something snarky..."
-"Are we spying? I love spying!" Chuck's adorable
-PLAYING POKER WITH FOOD! This is why it's a crime the show was cancelled...
-Emerson/Simone is a match made in a very snarky and AWESOME part of heaven
-Best. Double. Entendre. EVER: "This was the first time the private investigator had ever been ordered to-" "*click* COME!"
-Chuck and Olive are the cutest and most colorful besties ever
-"Oh, twins! Oh I love twins!" I concur completely!
-"You *have* seen twins before, right?" I love Ned's brothers...and they have the same eyebrows as him!
-Ha -"Two half-brothers, which is like one whole one!"
- Ned is too adorable: "MAURICE, and RALSTON?! I'm glad Dad got so fun and creative with naming after I was gone!"
-Emerson, you could go on SYTYCD with that dip!
-Haha Ned might've shrieked!
-This was a typical line they saved for a perfect time: "You think just cause you dead you ain't gonna tell us what you was up to but you are SO wrong!!!"
-Doo dee doo...pieces of the puzzle coming together...
-Um, Bao, I'm sorry you're dead, but it is kind of your fault...
-Agh favorite scene! Ned has the most adorable face ever when he says, "I thought you talked to her, or did you...more than talk?! YOU DID MORE THAN TALK!" Then Chuck makes the kissy noises and then Emerson slams them with "We decided to cool things off as a mutual agreement amicably reached by two highly mature ADULTS!"
-Aw, Chuck is Ned's family! And Olive...to a slightly lesser degree. "Thanks to a slightly lesser degree..." She really is a perfect little sister-ish character. I would totally ship her and Ned if Chuck and Ned weren't so perfectly perfect for each other
-DISGUISES! I LOVE DISGUISES! Chinese!Chuck looks a lot like Sarah did when she was dressing up as Ellie in 1.08
-Ooh, Ocean's 11 moment! Film references = awesome
-LMAO LMAO LMAO EMERSON AND NED'S DISGUISES! Emerson has hair and Ned's from TEXAS! "Same for me, darlin' *sexy nod*"
-Ha, Emerson doesn't want to give up his money...
-Yeah, there are better ways to meet girls. Like bringing them back to life in a funeral home in an attempt to make money off of her death...
-...How is Shrimp Boy NOT suspicious of them?
-This moment is very Team Bartowski-ish
-Haha, Emerson's sideburns stay stuck to his face...
-So Grubby cheated, and then MURDERED his father-in-law?!?!?!?!
-And Jim Dale has to show us the parallels...
-Snap! You tell him, Simone!
-"Ooh, sparkly!" YAY OLIVE GETS BLING!
-I love Emerson and Simone's relationship...I really wish they'd shown us more of it
-Ned is so adorably awkward with his brothers...on the other hand, I LOVE Chuck's coat...I seriously want to raid the PD costume trailer
-...And Dwight's got a gun...because they HAD to end it with a cliffhanger...
*Sigh* I feel much better now. LOVE YOU PUSHING DAISIES CAST AND CREW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
