Went down to Seattle(ish) on Friday, and then went with
aeto to his local Hallowe'en haunt, held at the Nile's Shriners golf course. Took the chimera, and had a good time going "rar!" at people. Also ended up feeling old as all of the girls in the "creepy doll house"

Here's the map of the quake location:
Where Port Hardy is (down at the lower part of the map) is the north end of Vancouver Island. Port Hardy is 220 miles from Vancouver. So where the quake was in relation to Vancouver is a distance of around 450 miles.

Oh, okay-- I was worried when I didn't see you online for a while (like at Q's stream). The stupid news stations down here just said the quake was located, "...in British Columbia, near Vancouver."
Sounds like you had a great weekend! I'm so jealous! Crab, costumes and haunts! And you timed it well: they're saying it will be a nasty, wet NW halloween this year. Someday I will finish my all-weather monster costume.
