Everything's set for my London invasion. First London, then Stephen. It's a process. I get there May 11 (Sunday) and leave the 16th (Fryday).
My hotel is right next to Hyde Park apparently.
And now for the boring logistical stuff: I'm thinking of taking the Heathrow Connect from the airport to Paddington Station. It's cheaper than the Express, and I doubt I'll be ready to try the Tube that early in my travels. The Tube scares me. *remembers An American Werewolf in London*
Still haven't heard a peep from the Applause Store about my 9867658685 requests for QI tickets. Should I call? The website says don't call. But that's OPPRESHUN.
Any tips for tips for my travels? I plan on the usual touristy stuff: Tower of London, St. Paul's, Westminster Abbey, Eye, The Ivy, Groucho Club, Stephen's pants. Evidently Stephen's crotchal region is the most visited attraction in all of London. That's what TripAdvisor said anyway.
