Ok, so following a tremendously mediocre moving sale, my family has cleaned out most of our home in Crystal Lake. Starting tomorrow, we will have tenants. Starting sometime this week, it will hit me that I can no longer return to my home for at least the remainder of the lease our tenants signed

'twas a good room. I'll miss those stairs that would be more appropriately called a twisty ladder. And the wall/ceiling paper. And all of those compartments that lined the walls that I've always wondered about but never asked...

i still have nightmares about the scary garage basement, with the old tricycle and toy lawn mower that blows bubbles and dark corners...

To address the garage

The garage is technically off-limits to our tenants at the moment, but that will probably change to allow them access to the main garage floor, whereas the attic and the basement of the garage will remain protected areas.
