Sunshine State! +3 hour time zone
I'm in Florida! We had two scrimmages today, the first one we ended up going against Alabama. We had scheduled to go agaisnt Kentucky, but we walked around the hotel convention centres for a half hour and were unable to find them. Then we ran into the Alabama team who also said they were going to scrimmage Kentucky. So apparently they got 2 teams up early to scrimmage them, and did not show up for either. Kentucky is such a whore. The Alabama team was so cute! I just wanted to pet them. "Which side do y'all wan't to be?" "Thank y'all so much!". We totally destroyed them. We wern't at the top of our game, but they were nice enough. Their coach was like a character out of a movie. "Y'all were fig-leafin' up there. Ya gotta use your hands!" They seemed nice but they reeked of republicanism. We were defense for that trial.
So then we went up against Indiana. They got 3rd at Nationals last year, and man were they good. I was sitting on the side being timer, and I was enthralled. Their crosses were amazing. They just told a story and were like their oldest pal and it was incredible to watch. They were all incredible and it's hard to be more descriptive than that. I say we got our asses handed to us, but others didn't think so, or just didn't want to admit it. So after that,we all got concerned and deided that we were too cool for opening ceremonies and actually worked for a long time that night. We ordered a ton of Chinese food and chilled out bonding and going over our material.
Tomarrow if we do well, we're working all night again, but if we get thrashed, then we're going to water parks and just chilling out and having fun. Have yourselves a merry little totally-bitching prom you guys. We'll be having a blast!
