Late night
Finally got some of my music back after having to wipe my hard drive clean a few days ago. I realy miss choir. I got a lot of old music I haven't heard in a long time off my laptop, and it's just been reminding me of how awesome honor choir was. That one weekend changed me more than I knew at the time (and yes everyone likes to make fun of Andrea for it). Even at SM, singing with people there was worth the TB bullshit and I hope I get to sing at Davis. ...and I hope I'm not supposed to be preparing some audition before hand.
I tried to go to the beach today, had to go to Hendry's because Devin doesn't like the break at Ledbetter because he's goofy footed so the entire west coast is pretty frustrating for him I guess. We did run into Ben Kaska from way WAY back in the day at Montessori, and had a fun talk with him for a few minutes. After a few more minutes, I had a pretty bad fall going full out on the sand I have no skin on my left elbow. It's really gross and stings like no other. Worse than that is I didn't feel like skimming after that so the session was cut a bit short, and I was pissed off and bleeding all over the place, and Devin's board got a hole in it when he (stupidly) bottomed out in the surf. Went home, patched my arm up, patched Devin's board up, watched Kill Bill 2 special features, and then he went home.
Later I got a call from Tozer who wanted to know if I could go sub for one of his team mates in the adult dodgeball league. I didn't hurt as much, so I said ok. It was really fun... except we had 4 people for a 6 man team. So we played some other teams, and lost both our "first to 3 games" matches, but we won a game in each which has gotta suck for the other guys, because hey, we're high school kids dicking around against weird 30 year olds that take it all seriosly, and we manage to win a game when we're down 2 players. A good time nonetheless.
After that, hung out with Ben and Megan for some extreme PIKMIN 2 action, and that was my day!
