The Tides of March
Had a "get psyched for state Mock Trial" meeting yesterday... it did it's job. We have sweatshirts and T-Shirts (Mary Hanson thinks she's clever :)) and they're awesome. All the cool kids are doing it.
Had an attempted bonfire on the beach last night, and it was going alright, the tide was really high, but no one thought much of it, until a wave made it over the top of the slope that goes down to the water. The water spread out all over the flat part of the beach and soaked all of our blankets. The fire lived, cause it was on a mound (and it was a good fire too. We didnt use any matches, just the embers from the previous night's fire) but we were standing in a swamp for a few minutes, and then the sandfleas got all agitated, and it broke up pretty soon after that. Julie showed up right after that happened with cookies for all (wow) but everyone was leaving so I felt pretty bad about that.
Went to Thor's house watched the end of Fear and Loathing... and eventuallly all the people who had been at the beach showed up. Thor is amazing I wish I knew him better. So diddled around that neighborhood for a while, went over to Danny's... chilled in good company and then went home (opted not to go bowling at 12)
