...Tucker...is your computer...EVOLVING!?

That's really kinda of scary....then again maybe I've been watching too many scifi movies again.

I built her to evolve. I'd be worried if she wasn't. She's just going faster than I thought she would. Being a parent is an adventure!

I built the Three Laws under her program, though. By the time she figures out how to break them entirely, she should be advanced enough not to want to hurt anybody. Aside from, you know, the people she's making money on.

*facepalm* TUCKER! I thought you were there when we watched the scifi movie marathons...how many of those have the computer turn evil, huh?

*sigh* Suit yourself though...just don't come crying to me when she goes into her rebellious teen years.

[shrug] SciFi =/= reality. Besides, they were all on Haruhi when Michiru went through her fist dozen rewrites, she's seen them all and knows the computer never wins in the end.

Teen . . . years? [shudder] All that's good and holy, help.

Says the boy who is going with Skulker....

*cough*

Anyways no, she's your "child" you raise her. *smirk* You did so well with the flour sack after all.

I am not going out with Skulker! How many times to I have to say this: we are friends. With. Benefits.

...I thought we agreed to never speak of the flour sack again.

Forget the teen years. The terrible twos are worse.

I avoided that, at least. She went from three seconds old to about five years old in a week, and I was a school for most of it.

Do you think constantly playing Doomed while she was learning to think is going to have a serious effect on her?

A bit... It's given a trigger finger to the current generation...

[wince]

Okay. So if she takes over the planet and/or kills all humans, you can blame me when we're under a cruel robotic overlord or floating in the Ghost Zone. Otherwise, I don't want to hear it.

Eh, just teach her to keep it in Doomed and we'll be fine. And I might actually gain a worthy opponent.

...you realize she now more-or-less lives on the internet and is probably reading this, right?

And also that you have just damned everyone else to a Doomed with not just two but three unbeatable overlords?

Because I just thought I'd point that out.

Three unbeatable overlords? Who's the third? There's me... then there's your AI... Is the third that guy in South Korea?
