My local cinema just made an offer that's really hard to refuse for me: they now offer a flat fee. A bit something I always dreamed of: just going to the movies without considering that I actually have seen a film before and that it would be stupid to pay the 7-8 € for a ticket again (as happened last with "Mamma Mia". heck, I saw that 3 times - I could have bought the DVD (if it were in stores yet) for that money!). So the flat fee is 149 € for 6 months or 249 € for 12 month. For that long I could see every movie I want without additional cost (except for drinks and popcorn of course). Doing some calculations that would be worth it if I go four times a month, or three times a month with the 12-months-offer. Which I usually do (sometimes even more often. From the money I spent at the cinema every year a small holiday, like one week in Spain, could be made). Plus the company has three cinemas in my hometown, and about 20 more all over Germany (if I'm on holiday or a business trip) so I wouldn't be too bound to the programme that just one multiplex can offer... I guess I found something my family could give me as a birthday present...
