i've come to the conclusion that when you deal with public settings such as these(livejournal, xanga, whatever.) you have to one up what everyone else has done. if someone busts out a tear jerker, your inclined to "one up" them. same goes for someone talking about how great things are, people are, again inclined to one up. this whole fluctuation of emotions are pretty much controlled by our competitive nature... yet noone will never, ever admit to it.
anyway. this weekend WAS SOOOOOOOO TERRIBLE... haha.
actually it wasn't bad. nothing profound, nothing devastating. just a whole lotta holiday cleaning. that office party i went to wasn't bad. who thought karaoke could be so much fun.
sumer comes back in a few days. who wants to plan the party??
