7 years in userpics
Was reading Yam outof_focus's entry about losing her userpics when I remembered my collection -- I had random userpics for every mood, whether it was a Prince William update (♥) or a bad day in school or a random daldal entry. I thought I lost my userpics when my paid account expired, but apparently LJ keeps it for 5 months after your account expires pala (perhaps in the hopes that you'll renew? Hehe!).
So I decided to just save them all and use them to look back on my 7 years on LJ. Tagal na rin, ah!
Love it. Must be the scrapbooker in me talking, but all these userpics say so much about the past 7 years! Stuff I've loved, shows I've watched, sports icons I've followed (sigh, I miss you, Ian Thorpe and Pieter van den Hoogenband! You guys were awesome), my tiyaga Prince William updates (na nawalan ako ng gana after a while), fave musicians (Hanson, BSB forever! Halata nalang yung influence ng Jonas Brothers sa bandang 2009/2010), even the ADMU championship! Sigh. Good times.
Wala lang, nakakasenti lang tingnan. I still check LJ from time to time, but I don't know if I'm still tiyaga enough to update it regularly. I'm not worried though, my fave people from LJ are all on Twitter anyway! But wala lang. It was a good place to keep stuff. Dami rin nangyari over the years! :) I still love LJ over Facebook -- LJ feels like a small barkada gathering where everyone listens to your kwento. Facebook feels like a noisy classroom where everyone's trying to talk at the same time :) Twitter.. parang chat lang. Haha!
Oh well. Good times, good times. Maybe I'll update every now and then but for now, thanks for the memories (more like holding on to 'em), LJ ♥
