There's this quiz in mandarin Chinese tomorrow and yet I still haven't opened my notes/textbook.
but i need to update! Chinese can wait. :D PRO-CRAS-TI-NA-TION feel the rhythm, procrastination now begins...
last sunday, Taiwan celebrated the 15th day of the month (Chinese lunar calendar). In layman's terms, it is called the Chinese lantern festival because according to the Chinese tradition, at the very beginning of a new year, when there is a bright full moon hanging in the sky, there should be thousands of colorful lanterns hung out for people to appreciate. At this time, people will try to solve the puzzles on the lanterns and eat dumplings...just to get this "joyful" atmosphere among families.
So, for us to experience this festival, the school planned a dumpling making activity and a visit to the city (to see lanterns).
wahaha... im not in the mood to put captions, but feel free to ask what's going on in the pics.
the lanterns remind me of UP's lantern parade. di ba? di ba?
