Mica: worst mineral ever.
I learned many things on my canoe trip.
1) I SUCK at being prepared. I didn't have a tent, nor enough non-dried food. What happens? It rains, and I get a stomach ache from jerky and trail mix.
2) It's always raining in Maine. Always. It rained from about 7pm the first night until 10am the next morning. It was still awesome, but I would have had more fun if it wasn't pouring out the whole time.
3) I should do more shit like this.
4) Mica is like the herpes of minerals (not unlike glitter!). Once you get it, it never goes away. Ugh. Everything is covered in little shiny flakes.
