(no subject)
So last night I saw Cat Power. She was awesome, even if her set was only 45 minutes or so. THe opening band was cool too, they were some rockabilly duo.
But the most exciting part: Amy's car couldn't make it back. When we got on the masspike to go home her car started making this intense rumble sound. It was so loud I could feel it in my inner ear and shit and it HURT. The seats were shaking too and she said she could really feel it when she turned. She didn't feel comfortable driving, and I still think it was a wheel or axle, so we decided not to drive it home for the 2.5 hours or so. We called Triple A and got towed to a mechanic in that area (Holyoke)
We had to wait for Amy's dad to come pick us up (YAY you're still my hero for picking us up) so we watched TV in the tow company's lobby. It was sweet we got to watch the Colbert Report and True Life.
We didn't get home till about 5am. D:
