Somebody Doesn't Know Beans (Plus a Late Meme)

Hey.

Don't you hate it when somebody goes back to a bad decision because they willfully forget why it was a bad decision in the first place?

Everybody in this household has physical aversions to specific foods.

All of these foods, as ingredients, are found in kielbasa and New Orleans-recipie red beans and rice.

Dad served it (both mixed together) on Thursday. I'm STILL suffering from it.

Dad remarked, "I thought you liked it."

I said back, "It doesn't matter what I think, this stuff doesn't like any of us back."

My folks always get groceries when I'm asleep or otherwise occupied, and so don't get to choose anything until it's on the dinner table and sometimes not even then. Yes, I should be more proactive about the issue, and in ways, I am, but at this point, it's not worth a lot of angst.

Only when it goes wrong.
