I Just Had To Look Through My Own Archives...
I came upon the entry about ramen and suddenly got hungry all over again. This is becoming habitual.
At least my folks bought two six-packs of Maruchan. Maruchan's my favorite brand of ramen. Nissin's Top/Oodles of Noodles is perhaps number 2, along with Campbell's. I don't care for Smack brand...for some reason it comes out too greasy.
My recipie is simple: cook and drain the noodles, dump the flavor spices on them. To conserve my tastebuds, I set limits on the spice...either one packet of spice for a pack and a half of noodles, or about 2/3rds of a pack of spice for one pack of noodles. Of course, this system ends up giving me an overwhelming surplus of flavor packs...for which I'm searching recipies to use them up.
Time to go cook.
