And today we had gale-force wind to bring down limbs from our stressed-out trees along with showers that must have been snow aloft that melted on the way down.
I got a check from my stocks' year-end dividend; with my tiny lot, the amount is a pittance and not worth going out in such weather to the bank to cash it. I'm staying inside, reading books and building scale models and trying to ignore the world's demands upon me.
