Plunder Only Happens When You're Raiding
And so, to update the story from here, my quest for Wizkids Pirates Yankees has led to one of these:
I thought there was only one at the local Wally--but I was wrong! They tidied up their stock to make room for Valentine's Day and Easter (yes, it's only at the end of March this year!) merchandise and they had three in stock...two with the Yankee Franklin ship and one with the Pirate Hangman's Noose ship, pictures of which are (sad to say) unavailable from Wizkids' own website. So I got a Franklin pack. As you can see from the picture, the featured ship is already assembled, tho' they also include the cards it comes in so you can "strike" it and take it to your voyaging waters with the rest of your pack. I am loathe to disassemble it right away, however...it does a fine job of guarding my keyboard.
So yes, I got the Yankee ship, but the other cards in this pack had no more Yankee pieces.
* 2 FRENCH ships and a FRENCH crew
* a SPANISH fort, a SPANISH ship and a SPANISH crew
* an ENGLISH ship and two ENGLISH crew
* a PIRATE ship and two PIRATE crew
* and one UNIQUE treasure piece
And so, I may return for another of the boxes if I get more Pieces-of-Eight in the near future.
