Yet Another Meme
This week I inadvertently got theidolhands angry at me...and totally justified at that. So for penance, I'm doing this meme I found on theidolhands' journal.

Were you the first?: No, the New #2.
Who was present at your birth?: I really don't know and have no desire to ask.
Were your parents married when you were born?: Yes.
What is your birth date?: Doomed to be eternally second-billed.

How would you describe your family?: Eclecticism disguised as normalcy.
Are your parents married?: Yes, and quite happily so.
Siblings or an only child?: Siblings, sister and brother.
If you have siblings are you oldest, middle, or youngest?: Middle.
What are your siblings names and ages?: Lynn, 42 and Dana, 36.
Which parent do you get along with best?: I think I get along with them equally well.
What do you fight about?: The lack of communication.
Do you have step parents?: No.
Part 3: The Friends
Do you have more than one best friend?: Best is such a subjective term.
Who are your best friends?: The ones who accept me and don't try to change me.
What do you like to do when you are together?: Try to make them happy. But I need more practice at that.
Do you share the same interests?: Usually.
Which friend can you tell anything to?: Depends on the Anything.
Part 4: Your Personality
How high/low is your self esteem?: Last time I took a test, I was surprised how high it rated me, so I don't trust it or myself to judge.
Are you an extrovert or an introvert?: Very introverted.
Are you happy?: I can't remember the last time I was.
Do you live life to the fullest?: No. But I don't see it as my job in life or my problem.

Are you comfortable with the way you look?: No.
Do you have any piercings besides your ears?: No. And not my ears either.
Describe your hair: Overgrown.
What make-up do you wear?: None.
How do you dress?: For comfort. Except when I have to.
Part 6: The Past
Were you a strange child?: Absolutely.
What did you use to love that you no longer do?: Junky breakfast cereals.
Do you have the same friends?: One of my current LJ buddies is a friend from my past.
Was there anything in your past that was traumatizing?: Plenty.
Part 7: The Future
What is your ambition?: To find a way to support myself with things that already are my habits.
Are you scared of growing old?: I'm going to grow old anyway.
Do you want to get married?: I don't know what the point would be for me. I'm too old to safely have children and too poor to start a household. What other reasons are there to find a bedmate and "settle down"?
Part 8: The Outdoors
Do you prefer indoors or outdoors?: I need them both.
What is your favorite season: Fall. Though I enjoyed it more in Florida than here.
Do you like walking in the rain?: Sometimes. But I like flying over the rain clouds better.

Are you a vegetarian?: Not at all. Total carnivore.
What is your favorite fruit?: Don't have one.
What food makes you want to gag?: Don't even want to think about it.
What is your favorite dessert?: Coconut Bundt Cake and a nice cup of almond coffee.
What is your favorite restaurant?: There's a barbecue place outside of Brooksville, FL.
Are you a fussy eater?: Absolutely.

Are you single or taken?: Never went on the market.
If taken who is the lucky guy/girl?: n/a
Do you think love is the best feeling in the world?: There is part of me that wishes I knew.
Do you believe in love at first sight?: I've seen it happen.

What was one of your greatest experiences?: First solo flight.
What was one of your worst?: Moving here.
Have you ever done drugs?: Not recreationally. Was prescribed drugs as a kid and hated the experience.
Have you ever thought you were going to die?: I've had episodes of "lace" when I thought I already had died. I really can't describe them.
Have you ever suffered from depression?: I'm not sure I am not clinically depressed now. In the coming weeks I'll get my formal diagnosis testing done.
