my semester 1, second year assessment

i'm really, really happy with the way it turned out. i accidentally put the last two photos in the wrong order (they are meant to be swapped around), but i was so concerned with hanging them correctly that i completely forgot about it until afterwards.

the book looked really professional on the plinth (that white block) and i'm glad i decided to do that instead of having it on a table with chairs.

these are just crappy digital scans from the negatives and not the actual prints i made in the darkroom for my assessment, but i still like them.

i'm thinking of selling the book online from the website where i got it published... the only thing is it's not the cheapest. $57 with hardcover dust jacket and $62 with hardcover imagewrap (that's what i got, it basically means there are no flaps from the hardcover, but it's tucked in to the sides if that makes sense).

i'm really pleased with the book and am thinking of selling it but i don't know if anyone will buy it, haha. my teachers came up to me after assessment, my two favourite teachers (out of the four assessing) and they said it was great and i just knew they meant it because they never bullshit you.

:)

like i said in my last post, other things are bothering me right now,
but i've just got to focus on what i love, and what helps me. other things make me cry but this builds me up... my own voice, and sharing it. and if i can learn how to speak the way i feel then i know i'm getting somewhere.
