RALPHIE's in town tonight! We went bowling and then watched Ben play Mega Man 6 for original Nintendo at Ryan and Grace's.

Grace and Ryan helped me move out of my dorm. This is probably the first time (minus the end of freshman year) that I had someone help me move in/out. Thank goodness. I only have a few things left in the room and I need to sweep the floor/clean the toilet/clean the shower. Then I'm out of here. Awesome, I know. I finally handed in my revised, 47 page independent study paper today. It was liberating.

This year was, by far, my favorite yet but it went by more quickly than any other year. I'm excited to go home even though I won't be "home" for too long this summer. I'm mainly excited for a few reasons: to hear my brother play the drums, to play with Freckles, to hear my mom's ridiculously thick accent, to talk non-fiction books with my dad, to listen to my papa say "now I'm telling you this for your own good" and "I might sound like a broken record, but...", to write in my journal on the beach, to get cannolis in the North End, to play my grammy's piano, to watch the sunset over the cranberry bog, to run into old friends, to eat at Lorenzo's, to watch Sox games...

Au revoir, dorm room. I'll be staying in town until prizzom and then my dad and bro will be in town with van to drive me and all my shit home. We might stop at the Louisville Slugger museum on the way.
