Update
Out in LA for the week for DARPA Tech 2007. Flight was ok. It was packed. They overbooked it. There was one woman at the gate putting up a screaming fit about getting her on the plane. A person, who I guess was a federal marshal, intervened. Ah yes drama!
Once I got into LA I rented my car with a GPS. Figured since I didn't have directions to the hotel in Anaheim that it would do. Boy did it take me into some scary places ... like La Brea and a scary neighborhood near the 110. Turns out the last people who used the thing has the setting all turned around. After I reset it, it only took me about 1 hour to get to Anaheim (1.5 hrs total).
Now in the room, trying to relax. Going to be a long week.
