Hey everyone,
I'm doing a project for the City of Fremont and I'm looking for volunteers this Saturday morning from 9 am to roughly 1 pm. The project is going out the Duck Island (the island in the middle of Lake Elizabeth) and planting tule plants. If youre curious what tules look like, heres a few:
So yea. I am planting ~300 tules and that can be done in less than 4 hours. However, if you can volunteer but need to leave early, that is fine. Lunch, snacks, and drinks will be provided by me. I understand if you have chinese school or band etc so this only applies to those who are free on Saturday morning. If you're interested, you can call me at 490-2936 (my house) or IM me @ v3ggie. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
