Joy to the world, George Bush is gone!
This week has been pretty outstanding, but for obvious reasons I think. There's a constant monkey on my back lately, pushing me to work harder, pay better attention and STAND UP STRAIGHT MOTHERFUCKER. I can't imagine why. Two days since Obama got sworn in and looking at his first three executive orders, or what I get from CNN anyway, gives me a sense of security for once. That he's worthy of the trust Americans and the world puts in him. Odd how one man can inspire me on so many levels.
In other news, I have pretty much exactly 303 days until my final day of school. Intense. Been studying my ass off too. I've always been able to get good marks without actually trying, but since mid-year last year it's not enough anymore. I feel like I have to be extraordinary and it feels really really good.
Starting drama again in June, which I can't frickin' wait for. It's always easier to focus when my emotions are sort of tucked away for me to draw on later.
