This will likely be out of date before I even get it posted, but whatever...
Also, I'll prolly get a buncha the details wrong, but they're really not important right now, so I'll mostly gloss over them anyway.
Anyway, they finally decided to do the surgery last night. My understanding is that it went as well as could be expected. they removed the gall ballder and a lot of the necrotic tissue in the pancreas.
Today, the liver and lungs are failing. Istart and Taarna are up at the hospital with Kaboukie and Zippy's mom.
They had to do emergency surgery in the ICU, since he's not stable enough to move to the surgical suite and he was hemorrhaging. They didn't find anything significant. He's bled 2 more liters in the 2 hours since surgery.
I'll post more as I find out.
Update: Ish just got home. She says the bleeding is from DIC (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disseminated_intravascular_coagulation). Wikipedia is not optimistic...
