Softball
So, as many of you know, today, well since thursday, has been my last softball tournament the year, and since softball is my life it was a big deal to me. It was the NFPSA summer nationals that had 24 teams from the western part of the U.S. competing, we got thrid which is really good. We played so many games and made some great plays, one of which involved me running smack dab into a fence while catching a fly ball. I have some pretty gnarly bruises to show for it! Today alone we played 3 back-to-back games in which two girls got carried off the field in ambulances for heat stroke. The tournament was the hardest softball ever, just because of the amount that we played, and how much we came back. I almost got voted all around tournament player by the umpire and coaches from the tournament, but I got runner-up instead. As for Spice awards I managed to pin golden glove infield! All in all the season was great though it had its ups and downs. I am sad, becuase this may be my last year of select, but happy for all that I have accomplished.
