Poor Tohru was in a rush. It was bad enough that she was totally unprepared for the day and then to completly forget she was basically the star of the show? Unforgivable! Since the Chinese New Year had started, it would have been impolite not to visit a member of the family, under the said year.
Ritsu continued making his way through the forest, heading for Shigure's house carrying a small box. As he arrived, he looked at what he was wearing. An orangey kimono with little spirals and flowers decorated on it. "Mmhm, I think I won't make mistakes today!" he told himself, thinking optimistically.
Seconds have passed and Ritsu remained directly in front of the door. Everytime he raised a hand to knock on the door, he couldn't.
"What if Shigure-san isn't here?" he told himself, starting to panic. "What if I got the wrong house?"
Ritsu couldn't take the pressure anymore. He knocked on Shigure's door vigorously and as many times as he could before someone opened the door.
Resisting the urge to yell and scream as she dragged herself to the party, Mayuko put on a smile she hoped didn't scream "Oh my gosh why the heck am I here." She had only come because everyone else was coming. It had sounded fun, she recollected.
Yeah, but then you heard Shigure-san was hosting, she remembered.
Tripping over a stone in the walkway (which she always did), she ran up to the doorway and saw another person - a boy or girl, she couldn't tell. "Are you trying to bash down his door?" she asked a bit too loudly.
OCC: Sorry I haven't been around! I was on vacation.

Yuki sighed quietly to himself for a moment, imagining all the ruckus that would be around his house that evening because of Shigure's big idea of having a party at their home here instead of the regular jyuunishi party. He was rather glad of the idea however, seeing as how they'd be able to celebrate with someone special rather than worry about her...and then sprinting back to find her in an upset manner. The boy moved over to the door that was being ignored whilst everyone was rushing and opened it to find a somewhat panicking Ritsu

Mayuko walked in slowly, looking around to see if Shigure or Ayame were going to pop out and yell something weird at her. Poking a paper dog that was hanging from the ceiling, she realized the person at the door was still with her.
I STILL CAN'T TELL WHETHER IT'S A GIRL OR A BOY! she exclaimed mentally, twisting her face up in frustration. These Sohmas are all so ambiguous! Realizing her expressions were probably frightening the other... person, she stopped. "Sorry for asking so rudely, but are you male or female?" she said.

Ritsu entered Shigure's household. He looked at the person Yuki also attended to. She didn't seem familiar. The monkey hasn't seen her anywhere, if he remembers correctly. "Ah !! Me?" he blinked as he played with his hair, twisting about his fingers on it.
"I- I'm a male !!" Ritsu said nervously. "D-Does it bother you?" he continued, feeling quite embarrassed. Ah, Ritsu didn't know what to do now. He didn't like being asked about how the way he dressed. "I'M SORRY !!" he yelled, bowing in front of the girl many times. "I'm sorry !! I can change to pants if-- If that's what you want !!"

Mayuko waved her arms frantically. "No, no, I'm ok with you wearing whatever. Just curious." She stopped waving. "How do you know Shigure-san?" she asked. "Are you a Sohma?"
If sh-HE is, then the Sohmas are weirder than I thought, the teacher thought to herself. She never quite knew what to think of the Sohmas. Some were exuberant (Ayame for one), some were a bit too happy (Momiji!), and some were... well, quiet - for a change. Like Hatori. She grinned at the thought of him.

Even though he knew he was headed to a party, Hiro couldn't help but frown at the door in front of him. Trust Shigure-nii to find a benefit to being cursed. Still, he had to be grateful. Free of Akito's watchful eye, this would be an oppurtunity to spend time with Kisa.
His hand hovered slightly over the handle of the door, but he didn't make contact. Maybe I should have waited for Kisa. She hadn't been home when he had stopped by her house earlier that day, but maybe he could have waited for her. He couldn't stand her mother's obsessive behavior, but the thought of walking with her hand in his, filled him with a warmth he couldn't explain.
