[Compile][Shigure's House][Front Porch]:Haru, Rin, Kisa +Kimi

Jan 18, 2006 21:40

Opening up the fridge he curiously looked around to spot a large dish at the bottom - which held cut up sandwiches, veggies, raw meat, rice balls and what he believed to be a sort of dip? for the veggies itself.

Bringing the tray out and placing it on the counter, the slight thought this was for everyone was quickly squashed away as he went about looking for glasses.

'It's like a maze in here...'

The kitchen wasn't overly big but Haru didn't really have the sense of knowing where something might be placed or be for that matter.

After his fifth try throughout the cupboards, he smiled as he pulled out two glasses, closing the door afterward. Returning back to the fridge and finding a small pitcher of lemonade, (having a feeling Yuki had asked Tohru to make it), he made a mental note to remind the small brunette to make some more later.

Figuring due to the loud commotion upstairs and that you weren't in the living room, he made his way outside once again. Unsure how he managed to do it, he slowly appeared back on the porch with all this in his hands and arms. Slowly he sat down the lemonade and glasses, pouring into both of them as he placed the tray between her and himself.

It was then he noticed the tiger in her bright green dress. "Kisa-chan,why don't you join us?" He smiled warmly towards her, moving his arm towards the slight spread of food that is placed.

Haru then turned his gaze toward Rin giving her look that she should eat if she's hungry, but knowing she might not now because of the newest arrival.

He picked up a tuna sandwich and quietly took a bite out of it, wondering exactly if he should say something or let the silence remain for now.

Seeing the pale green dress that adorned the body of one of the younger members of the Zodiac, it took her a moment to figure out exactly which one the young though nervous looking girl was.

The hair and eyes helped as did Haru saying the girl's name.

"....hello."

She responded in turn, she remembered hearing Haru talk about his concerns for the young Tiger and had been concerned as well. The smell of lemonade and food reached her nose as she glanced at it out of the corner of her eye before returning her attention to the younger girl.

"If you're hungry, there's food here."

Rin gave a "oh please" look over to Haru as she shifted a little to let Kisa sit next to Haru if she so pleased and stared out into the distance, she didn't think that had been the voice she had heard, the girl was far too soft spoken.

Kisa's smile got a bit wider when she saw Haru come out as well. The invitations enticed her. The young zodiac advanced, setting her backpack down on the porch. Then she made her way up to sit in the spot Rin had made for her.

"Thank you, Rin-oneechan," Kisa nodded politely. Even though the older woman didn't seem to be paying too much attention. Kisa figured that was alright, and that Rin-oneechan could do as she wanted. Kisa turned over and smiled at Haru.

"Hello, Haru-oniichan," the young girl chirped. The tiger leaned slightly on Haru, just enough to show affection. She righted herself after a moment, then settled with her hands on her lap. She waited just a few seconds, for politeness' sake, before taking a small riceball off the tray. Her eyes darted back and forth, making sure it was alright. Once she had confirmed, she quietly nibbled on the snack, making sure to savor it.

He smiled towards the Tiger as she lightly nudged against his shoulder, which he did back in return. "How's school going Kisa-chan? Hiro's now in your school now, right?"

He wasn't sure how long it had been since he seen the small girl, longer than a month or so. He had actually wanted to speak to her sooner knowing she always got a little anxious before the new school year would start - even before everything that happened before. He still at times felt a little nervous himself as another year past and then he was just all that more aware at how close he was to graduating.

Sipping some lemonade, he offered Kisa the other glass since Rin had shown she wasn't interested in eating.

"I didn't know you were going on this trip as well, or are you here for a sleepover with Tohru?"

[[Yes I am Kimi now Tohru approved]]

Kimi walked toward the door of what she thought was the Sohma house. She had never been there and wondered if she was in the right place. She walked closer and saw a familiar face on the porch. It was Sohma Haru. She figured that this must be the right place, after all he was family of the Sohma's so it must be right.

She saw a woman a little older then she and Haru and a young girl, who was very cute in a pretty green sundress.

She smiled and "Hey Haru! Is this the Sohma house? Oh, by the way sorry to inturrupt. I'm Kimi."

She stuck her hand out to Rin, and patted Kisa's head.

Before she could really bring herself to say anything or join in the slight conversation, a shadow fell over everyone and revealed to be..someone in a uniform that the girl's wore to that school Haru went to.

'I don't care for her at all.'

That surprised her a little, usually she had to see what the person wanted before she knew if she liked them or not. When the woman spoke, oh so cheerful and mock innocently, Rin felt her eyes begin to narrow and darken with irritation.

'Who the hell does she think she is?!

Now she knew why she didn't like the woman, it was because she was acting so...friendly, like she knew Haru like she did and the rest of the Sohma.

Acted like she belonged there.

The last straw was when the hand was stuck out in greeting and she patted Kisa on the head, like she was family or someone that they trusted.

"Who the hell do you think you are?!"

Ah there it was, the sharp tongue she knew she had. Rin stood up and looked coldly down at the woman, her dark brown eyes glittering furiously as she glared at the woman's hands.

"You act as if you have a right to be here, as if you know this family and act familiar with them. As far as I know, there is no such person, especially one who is as uninvited as yourself."

And boy was her tongue sharp at the moment! She thought to herself as she stared coldly down at this Kimi woman before speaking once more and leaning herself against the wooden support that hung in front of Shigure's front door.

"I have no interest in speaking or interacting people like you. Nor do I have any intention on getting friendly with anyone. Your efforts are completely wasted."

"Yes, Hiro-chan... I see him at every lunch," Kisa smiled, the image of the sheep coming up. It was always nice, even though Hiro-chan made some of the girls avoid them. It was all in good meaning. Kisa reached out and took the offered glass of lemonade from Haru. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a girl approach.

Kisa stared at the girl, who appeared to be a schoolgirl about Haru-oniichan's age. She seemed very friendly. Kisa bit her lower lip. Did she know this person? How did she know how to find this house?... Her eyes were filled with worry as the girl patted her head. Kisa's hands shifted on the glass anxiously.

Then the snap came.

As Rin started her exclamation, Kisa jerked backwards. It was so loud, and so sudden. Kisa was taken aback- and now wet. In her shock, the glass had slipped from her grip. Kisa stared down at her damp dress. She could feel little tears coming to the corners of her eyes. She'd went and spilled! She felt the glass slip down onto the porch. Luckily, nothing had broken- the glass was still intact. Kisa's eyes shifted up to look at Rin.

"Wh-...wh-..." Kisa couldn't get the question out. Her voice was too shaky.

Rin's speech nearly blew him back a bit as it wasn't since she confronted Yuki that he heard her speak so harshly. That wicked tongue of hers just kept going and striking in every word that came out of her.

Hearing a small gasp beside him, his grey eyes focused on the Tiger. The glass in her hand was now empty and the front of her green dress was wet. She had probably never witnessed such a lashing from the Horse before and it had most likely rattled her. Seeing that she was so close to tears, he glared towards the newest arrival.

He didn't know much about her besides that she was on the student council with Yuki, but for all he knew she could have been one of the obsessed fangirls that had somehow tracked down where the Rat lived. This didn't sit well with him at all.

Haru felt downright disgusted towards her.

"I think it's best you left. We are having a family gathering and clearly you were not invited. I suggest you go now before you upset things further."

Putting his glass down and out of the way, he picked up Kisa-chan's backpack and offered his hand to take to go inside.

"Will go and get you cleaned up. We can wash your dress so you can still wear it today."

Kimi heard the dark haired girl screaming at her saying she wasn't invited and that she shouldn't be there. She was worried for the little girl when she spilled the lemonade and was on the verge of tears. She kept hearing the bashing from the older woman.

"I'm sorry that I'm here!"

She was now on the verge of tears.

"But Tohru said that there was a sleep over here today and that after we would leave on the field trip tomorrow! I'm sorry if I was to friendly for you and some how you couldn't handle it but please stop! You are hurting my feelings!"

She started bawling and ran away from the house hoping to be followed by someone who cared she was hurt.

Kisa stared back at the schoolgirl, still slightly curious. She couldn't help but wonder the identity of the girl... and sympathize with anyone who was the target on Rin's verbal onslaught. Kisa's lower lip trembled as the girl also began to cry. The tiger took Haru's hand and stayed close to him. She listened to the explaination. A sleep over... that was indeed why Kisa was here. Had Tohru-oneechan invited people from school as well? Her question would be unanswered, however, as the girl fled. Haru's voice was the only thing that registered in the dazed tiger's mind.

"Y-... yes, Haru-oniichan," Kisa mumbled, still staring at where the girl was. The small grip she already had on the ox's hand tightened. For some reason this seemed an ill omen. She wished that Hiro-chan was there with her to reassure her. Or that Haru-oniichan would reassure her. She looked up at Haru with pleading eyes. Please tell me everything's okay...
