Founded in '95 by Takuya Sawada, Takuya Angel was created in order to bring traditional Japanese fashion back to stylish modern fashion. Takuya Angel clothes are modernized old fashioned kimono and samurai fashion; unlike most companies now, they use traditional terms like "haori" and "geta" to describe their articles of clothing.

They currently now own two shops in Japan and also sell through other stores in Paris.
