it's only february.
It's uncomfortably hot today, and darn it, it's only February. This house must be one of the warmest in the neighborhood, as this area is known for being on the cooler side... it's gotta be in the 90s up in my bedroom. Yuck. Sometimes I really wish I lived in Minnesota somewhere.
Dinner last night at the Pineapple Room... the dessert, a chocolate cake with a buttercream peanut butter frosting served with ice cream, chocolate sauce and caramel, was too scrumptious to describe. If they were open tonight I would go again, just for that.
Before that we stopped by a home remodeling show... how old am I that this is fun? But fun it was, especially oohing and aahing over koa furniture and wood floors. If only I had an extra, say, $40,000 lying around. Dang.
I finally got a domain name I've been wanting forever. Woo hoo! Someone else registered it just a week before I did maybe 5 or 6 years ago, and they finally let it expire a couple of months ago. I found out how painfully long it takes for the name to be released... I don't know what I'm going to do with my free time now that I no longer have to check on the availability of that thing every day.
I've been feeling a bit unfulfilled lately. I don't know if I need a new hobby, or what.
