zachhaschangedWhy is it that I love going back and reading on what I was doing last year or 5 years ago on Livejournal, but I never update to leave myself with something to read in another 5 years? Since the last time I've updated everythings changed. Ok, not really, but I have a new apartment in a new part of town, some new friends, a new social life, a longer commute to work, and somewhere in the past few months I started drinking beer. Really?
Work, however, is more of the same. Same passengers, same crazy flight attendants, same planes.
For the most part I think I like my new place. My old place had things my new one doesn't, such as a dishwasher, central air and an elevator. Plus it was 30 minutes closer to work, but everything is a trade off. Most of my friends live up in the area and I see them much more often now. In fact I don't think there is a day that has gone by yet without doing something with someone. Which in contrast to my previous apartment where I could literally spend 3 days there without seeing anyone or going anywhere, its a huge improvement.
The picture is my new sofa. Did I mention I love it?
As I sit here, its fucking freezing outside and there is a chance of snow. Its April 21st people. Not acceptable. According to the weather report though its supposed to be up in the high 70s by Friday, which would be perfect because I would love to go sit out by the lake and munch on prepackaged sushi trays. I am so ready for this summer. I have a trip to Austin coming up with Holly. Robert is coming up for Pride. Kelley I am sure is coming at some point. My cousin is coming after her 21st Birthday in August. Anyone else want to come visit? I am looking at you Stef. I've been living here over 2 years and you haven't been here once!
